So I've been seriously busy over the last little bit too much so to write. I studied my butt off for my first round of exams in 8 yrs. That was pretty scary, but the way they exam is completely different from what I'm used to. Basically all you have to do is write 3 essays out of x choices. Hmmmm......not used to doing things that way, I didn't even have exams like this in High school! So in one sense it was really easy, but the other sense is I have no idea how well I did because the marks are not out yet.
I'm waiting for my new bow to arrive, it should be here today, it better be here by tomorrow at the latest as I have training and we have two competitions coming up in just over a week b so I'd like to get some training time with the new bow to work out any glitches. Anyways I'm well excited to get a proper bow finally even though it has cost me a fortune!
I have also joined a sugar flower making course. I'm enjoying it, it is a little strange to do at the moment as everything is new, but so far my carnations look like carnations. I'm hoping to pick up a cake decorating course to go along with it. Then at least with all my baking skills, I'll be able to finish cakes etc nicely!
Next trimester will be starting next week, I'm well excited as the courses will actually start doing some proper scene stuff and analysis of things! Much better than genetics and law that I just finished. So I can't wait for that to start, how sad.
I have also applied to do my masters down in Glasgow so I'm just waiting to hear back from that. It was an interesting meeting to say the least!
I have to put a hold on knitting things as I have hurt my wrist. I think it is telling me to take things easy for a bit. It is well annoying that I can't do any knitting at the moment, as my things are all sitting there on the needles calling out to me. Frustrating!

- I would say I'm pretty nomadic, I like to roam around living here and there. Every so often I get the feeling that I have to travel so up I get! I have the usual: 2 parents, and a younger sister. I like to bake, knit, and generally try to enjoy myself where ever I am.

Being in China you get a lot of things said that are funny here are a few (some might be with stories, more than likely not!). Not all of these are from China, sometimes I just come across something that makes me laugh.
Girls like boys that are ripe: Excellent, boys are like fruit! Obviously I missed this part of education, no wonder I'm single! I should be going around squeezing guys I like to make sure they are "ripe" wouldn't want to get an unripe one which I think is my usual problem. Then again I have a problem with overly ripe ones as well. Must remedy this!
Do gay people have sex? Oh dear! Then again with no sex education and sex itself being "mysterious" and "secret" I'm not surprised students aged 20 don't know this.
Safety paper: amuses me to no end! I didn't realize sanitary napkins kept you safe. Safe from what? Fire? Drought? Self combustion? They come in "summer" and "winter" types. Winter ones keep you warm, why you'd want that I'm not sure!
Female holiday: I'm getting my wisdom tooth taken out on Monday, one of the things I was asked was this. At first I was a little confused, then I realized my translator student meant "period." I doubt very much Western women would call it a "holiday" more like the other weeks are a holiday!
Lust limb: I briefly caught a bit of a movie, some danish cartoon thingie call beowulf, and this is what a character said. Cracked me up no end. What a brilliant little sentence for describing a penis!
Tuning Fork: Was watching CSI the other week and Greg said to the new girl (can't remember but she's played by Lauren Lee Smith) and he said "why would you need to analyze her tuning forks" in reference to the woman's vibrators. I love Greg to bits especially when he comes up with things like that. Excellent!
